My screen appears to be frozen or missing features.

If the MinKNOW GUI appears frozen or is not displaying all the expected features, please try refreshing the screen by pressing Ctrl + R to see if this resolves the issue. If this fails, please close and re-open the MinKNOW window. If these steps do not provide a resolution and you have ongoing experiments, you can try connecting remotely from a different computer for monitoring and controls, as described in this FAQ. If no experiments are active in MinKNOW, please try a full power cycle of the compute.
