AmPORE-TB
AmPORE-TB is a streamlined, end-to-end workflow utilising nanopore sequencing to deliver rapid characterisation of mutations associated with antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, species identification, and lineage identification in a single assay, directly from sputum samples.
Combining fast library preparation with on-demand sequencing on the GridION Q-Line device* and hands-off, comprehensive analysis onboard the sequencer, the workflow takes as little as six hours†, for same-day results.
Find out more about AmPORE-TB in the documentation below.
Documentation
AmPORE-TB will be launched as a research use only workflow; it is in active development on a pathway to pursuing regulatory approval for clinical use. The end-to-end workflow, inclusive of reagents, GridION device, and software, will be manufactured under ISO 13485 and will be submitted for registration with global regulatory bodies.
*The GridION Q-Line device, installed with the AmPORE-TB data analysis software, distributed by bioMérieux (Q-GRD-MK1-ATB).
†Actual time will vary according to individual laboratory setup for steps prior to sequencing (e.g. sample handling).
