What is DNA CS (DCS)?

What is DNA CS (DCS)?

DNA CS (DCS) is a DNA control strand (3.6 kb standard amplicon mapping to the 3' end of the Lambda genome) used as a positive control sample to provide quality checks. It can be used during library preparation to help users distinguish the sample failure from the library prep failure.

The concentration of DCS is 10 ng/μL and the sequence of DCS can be found here.

DCS is included in the ligation sequencing kits.
