Sequence of viral outbreaks in Cambodia, in no particular order

  • Published on: November 10 2021

This is not a talk about COVID-19 per se. However, it will touch on ONT sequencing in untangling clusters of SARS-CoV-2. It also covers the search for coronavirus origins in bats. The utility of genomic sequencing during COVID-19 is undeniable. It is also unavoidable. Apologies. So, if that doesn’t trigger your pandemic fatigue too badly, this talk also offers you ONT sequencing used for: human seasonal influenza vaccine, One Health studies in avian influenza, a Chikungunya outbreak, and other high risk emerging and endemic diseases in Cambodia at the animal-human interface.
