Abstract An update on the latest features in direct RNA basecalling and modcalling. Biography Bronya Boydon leads the training and evaluation of the RNA basecaller models. She has a BSc in Natural Sciences, which provided a strong foundation in mathematics and biology, and an MSc in Bioinformatics that sparked an interest in machine learning. Her unique background and passion for using technology to drive innovation in biology led her to Oxford Nanopore Technologies. Here, she is dedicated to tackling the novel challenges that RNA presents to improve basecalling accuracy, increase modification options, and ensure model integrity.
