Efficient targeted sequencing using nanopore sequencing

  • Published on: January 25 2021

While whole genome sequencing is being performed at an ever-increasing pace, most post-genome research focusses on only a small part of the genome. Many approaches are being developed that combine the benefits of sequencing native DNA (such as methylation detection) with a genomic subset to be screened among a large number of samples. Proof of concept will be presented for a proprietary CRISPR-based technology for sequencing and enrichment of specific regions of interest. To boost target enrichment, we combined adaptive sequencing with our wetlab-based enrichment technology.
