- Nanopore sequencing of native adeno-associated virus vectors for quality control
Overview
Adeno-associated virus (AAV) is a non-enveloped single-stranded DNA virus used in gene therapy that requires accurate validation and quality control (QC) before therapeutic use. Nanopore technology can sequence full-length, native AAV genomes, enabling comprehensive characterisation of the viral genome, including inverted terminal repeats (ITRs), transgenes, and promoters of interest.
This end-to-end workflow provides a simple method to characterise full-length native AAV vectors for QC measures.
