University of Guelph, Genomics Facility

The Genomics facility provides DNA sequencing, bioinformatic analysis, nucleic acid quantification and quality assessment, and gene expression studies by real-time qPCR or digital droplet PCR. Next generation sequencers, including Oxford Nanopore PromethION devices, offer integrated sequencing solutions for any project, including whole genome sequencing, metagenomics, metabarcoding, transcriptomics, single-cell RNA seq, methylomics, and more. Our bioinformatician is available for data analysis and consulting. In collaboration with the MiPARC, we also offer sample extraction services, taking you from samples to publishable figures.
