Monash Genomics and Bioinformatics Platform

The Monash Genomics & Bioinformatics Platform (MGBP) is a research platform based at Monash University's Clayton campus. MGBP provides expert support across the full spectrum of DNA and RNA sequencing technologies. Its core services include Sanger sequencing and next-generation sequencing, alongside whole-genome, targeted and long-read sequencing. The platform also offers single-cell and spatial transcriptomics capabilities, plus quality-control and DNA shearing services to support upstream sample preparation. As a Monash University research platform, MGBP is committed to advancing the research community through innovation, collaboration and scientific excellence, helping researchers access cutting-edge genomics tools.
