Functional Genomics Center Zurich

The Genomics unit consists of the Genomics Analytics and the Genome Informatics teams, with expertise in the fields of next generation sequencing, single cell transcriptomics, spatial gene expression, long read sequencing, genome engineering, and bioinformatics.

We offer comprehensive services tailored to our users’ specific research needs: project consultation and expert-level services including sample quality control, library preparation, sequencing, and data QC. Ready-made libraries can also be brought to our facility by expert users and get sequenced on our instruments. We also offer ‘Walk in Access’ to our medium-scale sequencers. For non-standard, customized protocols, our fully equipped user lab is accessible.

Downstream data analysis is also available, led by Genome Bioinformatics subgroup. We run both an established and customised implementation of advanced models and algorithms.
