Innovation Stage talk

Date: Tuesday, June 24

Time: 2:50 pm-3:20 pm

Location: Innovation Stage

Talk Title: Epigenomic and fragmentomic analysis of cell-free DNA in cancer with Oxford Nanopore sequencing

Speaker: Billy Lau, Stanford University

In this talk, Billy will discuss how:

  • Short cell-free DNA fragments can be sequenced at scale with nanopore sequencing.

  • Direct single molecule measurement of cfDNA methylation enables a promising biomarker modality for cancer detection and patient monitoring

  • Direct sizing of cfDNA shows significant size differences between healthy donors and those with cancer

**Please note, space is limited for the event so do register ahead of time. **
