The Modern Slavery Act 2015

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 is an Act of Parliament designed to tackle slavery in the UK and consolidates previous offences relating to trafficking and slavery. The bill received Royal Assent and became law on 26 March 2015.

Oxford Nanopore is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or our supply chains.

As a rapidly growing company, we are continually upgrading and integrating our policies into our evolving processes, whether that is working to make sure that our workforce is aware of modern slavery risks or working with suppliers to ensure they also comply with the letter and spirit of the legislation.
