PromethION P2 and P2 Solo

Flexible, high-yield nanopore sequencing for every lab

Overview

The PromethION 2 devices maintain the flexibility associated with high-yield nanopore sequencing, but in a compact, accessible form factor. They are designed for small to medium sized academic and research labs, as well as core labs and commercial service providers — delivering the benefits of high-yield nanopore sequencing to users with lower sample processing requirements (up to four full-length sequencing runs per week / ~200 flow cells per year).

Each flow cell has the capacity to deliver hundreds of gigabases of nanopore sequencing data. This conveniently and rapidly enables users to obtain the data they need for completing large genomes, studying complex metagenomic samples, obtaining known and novel transcripts from single-cell sequencing, and more. P2 devices allow users to explore their applications and projects, before scaling up to a PromethION 24 or PromethION 48 device if required.
