Sebastian has been serving the industry in the field of ‘virus safety of biopharmaceuticals’ for almost two decades. After obtaining his PhD, he became project manager of virus clearance studies at Charles River Laboratories in Cologne, Germany. This was followed by an assignment at AsahiKasei Bioprocess, liaising with industry associations, CROs, and authorities as well as supporting internal and external entities in scientific matters. As a consultant, Sebastian serves drug developers in scientific and regulatory affairs during all stages to market.
