Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where duplicate read IDs in input data sets could cause guppy_basecaller to hang.
  • Mid-strand barcode detection no longer fails on GPU if the query strand is over 100,000 bases length. In this case the barcoder now falls back to the CPU implementation.
  • Fixed a bug in mid-strand barcode detection on GPU which could cause incorrect results to be reported for barcode kits with a single barcode (such as SQK-RBK001 or SQK-RBK004).
  • Enabling barcode trimming as part of basecalling now works properly (previously, it failed to trim barcode sequences).
