<p>We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the <strong>Product Management</strong> Team and be responsible for managing the Sample Preparation for all Oxford Nanopore Technologies Devices.</p>
<p>Reporting to the <strong>Senior Director of Product Management </strong>the successful candidate will oversee the entire range of sample preparation methods available for Nanopore Sequencing, and work with the R&D team as they develop new kits and protocols and through the applications and documentations teams, deliver new improvements to the Nanopore community of users.</p>
<p>This Sample Preparation Product Manager will be the interface between raw samples and the Oxford Nanopore product portfolio of library preparation kits and recommended protocols. They will work with R&D, the Oxford Nanopore Applications team, Technical Support, Sales, Customers and Suppliers on new methods of extraction or preparation that fit with the key principles of simplicity, rapid time to answer and long reads of Oxford Nanopore Technologies. </p>
<p>The candidate will work with key vendors on OEM solutions that can deliver ease of use for our users as well as other industry suppliers wishing to develop tools that are compatible with nanopore sequencing.</p>
<p>Together with the Applications, Marketing and Digital team, the Sample and Library Preparation Product Manager will ensure that customers, technical support and sales have all the correct information available to correctly select and use the right products for their experiments.</p>
<p>Additionally the candidate will forge strong relationships with our Development team to fully understand product performance expectations and work with the technical support team to ensure the correct troubleshooting is in place to guide customers to success.</p>
<p><strong>What We Are Looking For…..</strong></p>
<p>The Sample Preparation Product Manager will have previous Product Management or Technical Sales experience in the Life Science Industry. They will be strong communicators, quick to learn and show a good understanding of fundamentals of manipulating DNA and RNA.</p>
