Live GPU basecalling is supported on NVIDIA GPUs on Ubuntu and Windows using the GPU specific installers. The GPU must be installed on the same system to which the MinION or PromethION 2 Solo is connected.

GPUs with a low amount of memory (less than 4 GB) may not work at all.
