MinION Mk1D
If you are using the MinION for the first time, download and install the latest version of the device software (MinKNOW) to the host computer to which you will connect the MinION. The installation guide offers a walk-through. Any further software updates will pop up as notifications from the software user interface.

Standalone basecalling software
