Used flow cells can be returned for recycling as part of our social and environmental responsibilities, with free, prepaid, prelabelled UPS shipping bags.

Return up to 50 flow cells per bag and order additional returns bags (minimum 10 per order) here. We have simplified the process, to help you do more regular returns:

• No flushing required: for flow cells used with fully extracted DNA, which do not pose a health risk to humans
• No repackaging needed: put your flow cells in their plastic casing first, if still available, this is to protect them from damage during transit.
• For easy collection or pickup options from EU, UK & US either:
  1. Schedule a pickup at UPS.com using the tracking number on your bag** or
  2. For free collection choose one of the following options:
     1. Drop your bag off at any UPS collection site, location, or receptacle
     2. Create a new label via the “Book a collection via UPS” link here, selecting the appropriate region. Place the new label over the existing label and book a collection with the new tracking number
     3. Email support@nanoporetech.com with the tracking number on bag and availability (e.g., Mon–Fri, 9am–4pm) for scheduled pickup
• Australian customers: simply drop your prepaid return bag into any Australia Post box
• From any other country: visit this page to book a collection or contact support for help from our team, if your country is not on the pull-down list
