5th November 2025 - In 'Overview of the protocol', in the Table under 'Library preparation', the timing for priming and loading a flow cell was increased from 5 min to 10 min. - In section 1, 'Compatibility of this protocol', MinION Mk1B and Mk1C were removed, along with their links for IT requirements as these device documents have moved to legacy. This also includes removal of links to their user manuals in 'Data acquisition and basecalling'. - In section 2, 'Equipment and consumables', image of the kit in the single-use tube format was removed. - In section 3, 'Library preparation' and section 4, priming and loading the flow cell, the link for the flow cell check in MinKNOW was replaced with a link for the flow cell check document. - In section 4, 'Flongle Flow Cell loading', the link for the flow cell loading video was updated. - In section 4, 'Priming and loading the MinION/GridION Flow Cell', a tip was added to bring the flow cell to room temperature for better visibility of the array. The addition of BSA to the flow cell priming mix was changed from a 'recommended' to a 'required' instruction. Instructions for the use of the kit in tube format were removed from step 2.
