Rea Kobialka is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Animal Hygiene and Veterinary Public Health, Germany. She completed her veterinary medicine studies at Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich and obtained her doctorate at the Institute of Animal Hygiene and Veterinary Public Health in Leipzig. Her primary research interests focus on the diagnosis of infectious diseases, with a particular emphasis on molecular methods. Having participated in various international projects and being part of the mobile suitcase lab team of Leipzig University, her expertise lies in point-of-need diagnostics in low-resource settings.
