Dr Emma Stanton is CEO for Pathogena at EIT. From 2020–2024, she was Senior Vice President Clinical at Oxford Nanopore Technologies and Head of Oxford Nanopore Diagnostics. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Emma was Director for Supplies, Labs and Innovation as part of the British government's NHS Test and Trace response. Originally a practicing NHS clinician, Emma holds an executive MBA from Imperial College, London, a MRCPsych from the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and a BM from the University of Southampton.
