The sequencing_summary.txt file is generated during every sequencing run, but only runs with active live basecalling include all the information required for run assessment.

A temporary version of this file is generated in a .txt.tmp format in the /data/reads/tmp folder while the run is in progress. On completion of the run, this file is moved into the experiment output folder created by MinKNOW (see this FAQ for more details).
