Can I use small DNA fragments with the Rapid Kits?

Can I use small DNA fragments with the Rapid Kits?

For optimal results we recommend using high quality molecular weight for gDNA experiments (>30kb N50). However, sequencing shorter DNA fragments will still provide good sequencing results.

Due to the transposase-based chemistry of our rapid sequencing kits, we don’t recommend starting with fragment lengths smaller than 500 nt.

If you want to sequence amplicons, please refer to our Rapid Barcoding Amplicon sequencing protocol for more information.
