There is no exchange programme for MinION Mk1B. There is also no upgrade path for replacing your existing MinION device with a MinION Mk1D. The MinION Mk1D is available as a pack that includes the device, flow cells and library preparation kits under a bundle price.

If you have ordered a MinION Mk1B that has not yet shipped then you can contact our Customer Services team to request a swap for a MinION Mk1D, this is not done automatically. Orders of MinION Mk1Bs that have already shipped cannot be returned or exchanged for the MinION Mk1D.
