GridION
Updates to the GridION are most commonly installed from within the device software (MinKNOW) itself. A dialogue box opens when a new update is available. Release and changelog information is provided here for your reference. We also provide an advanced option to update the software via the Terminal (command line interface).

Standalone basecalling software
Basecalling software converts raw electrical signals into nucleotide sequences and provides additional data analysis tools. May be used as an alternative to MinKNOW’s built-in basecaller.
