Improvements

• Sequencing and data accuracy: Updated pore current limits for PromethION (FLO-PRO114) flow cells to improve QC consistency and alignment with sequencing performance. Improved speed reporting in the UI to better reflect active reads; users may notice slightly lower reported speeds.
• Run reliability and recovery: Improved protocol resilience during pore scans, extending pause and recovery support to this phase of sequencing.
• Data handling and security: Enhancements to data integrity during offload, optional encrypted BAM output, and improved handling of local access and authentication.
• System and compatibility: Removal of unnecessary GPU dependencies for Dorado.
• Usability and workflow: Improved file management (including copying folders to offload locations) and faster loading of update information.

Bug Fixes

• Data output and reporting: Fixes to ensure outputs are accurate and consistent, including FAST5 generation behaviour, BAM/FASTQ file naming, POD5 reporting, sample sheet outputs, and read timing.
• Run completion and sequencing behaviour: The final_summary file is now written only after all outputs are complete, recovery from channel saturation events has been improved, and flow cell check status is now shown correctly for new flow cells.
• Data handling and offload: Improved stability and validation for data offload, including remote locations.
• Analysis and configuration: Fixes to ensure post-run analysis settings (including minimum Q score) and input file handling behave as expected.
• System, hardware, and upgrades: Fixes to upgrade reliability (including issues affecting older installations), improvements to system management.
• General system and UI fixes: Various fixes to UI behaviour, reporting accuracy, and system stability, including improvements to run status display, notifications, device interactions, and error messaging.
