Beginning with 10x Genomics cDNA, getting started with nanopore single-cell transcriptomics is a simple protocol that generates full-length cDNA reads and maximizes yield. Learn important wet-lab considerations, tips, and expectations when prepping your single-cell cDNA for nanopore sequencing. Biography Rachel Rubinstein is a Technical Product Manager with a background in molecular biology and microbiology. At Oxford Nanopore Technologies, she works with the MinKNOW and EPI2ME teams to help incorporate customer feedback and make the software more powerful and user friendly. She is passionate about improving user experience, robustness, and stability of the MinKNOW and EPI2ME software. In her free time, you can catch her running, swimming, or cycling around the Boston, MA, area. Carly Tyer is an Applications Scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies where she specializes in sequencing protocol development and runs pilot projects across a wide range of applications including cancer, immunology, single-cell, Pore-C, and Telo-seq. Prior to joining Oxford Nanopore Technologies, she completed a BSc in Biotechnology at the University of California, Davis, and later worked as a research scientist for an agricultural microbiology company, helping to develop microbial sequencing practices and pipelines. Based in San Francisco, she applies her sequencing expertise to a variety of biological samples for projects showcasing the unique aspects of long-read sequencing with Oxford Nanopore Technologies protocols and workflows.
