Accurate Accelerated Read Clustering in The Nanopore Signal Domain


While basecalling is widely researched and utilized today in many DNAanalysis pipelines, itis both computationally expensive and possessesan inherent loss of information since it converts real-valued signalsinto discrete bases. In this work, we propose a novel approach tha exploits the additional information available in the raw signals toboth improve alignment accuracy and accelerate DNA analysis infields such as Chemistry, Biology, Medicine, and DNA storage.
