Dr. Aino Järvelin is Associate Director, Sample Technology Bioinformatics at Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc. At Oxford Nanopore, Aino's team focuses on building bioinformatic analysis tools and supporting development of new sequencing methods. Before joining Oxford Nanopore in 2021, Aino was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University of Oxford. Aino has a PhD in genomics jointly from European Molecular Biology Laboratory and University of Heidelberg.
