How long will the MinION Mk1B be supported for?

How long will the MinION Mk1B be supported for?

The MinION Mk1B will receive 1 year of hardware support (replacement if required) and 2 years of software support from the date it it is removed from the legacy store.

This means we are currently planning for the following:

  • Hardware support until June 30th 2026
  • Software support until June 30th Q2 2027

Customers with contracts including support beyond June 30th 2027 will be honoured in line with the terms set out within those contracts.
