Can I use a longer USB-C cable?

Performance is internally benchmarked using the cable provided with the Mk1D, performance may vary using alternative cables. A cable up to 3m in length can be used as long as it meets the USB-C standard, we recommend using cables that are USB-IF certified.

We have tested this cable and shown it to be performant.
