LongSeq Applications is a Spanish biotech company spin off from the University of Murcia providing clinicians, researchers and biotech companies with end-to-end sequencing services — from sample preparation to bioinformatic analysis — using our own pipelines. Our basic research services support transcriptomics and epitranscriptomics, and species-origin analysis for the food industry. We also offer analysis of complex diagnostic cases that remain unresolved by conventional techniques, including rare genetic diseases, hereditary cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and unsolved cases from hospital clinical genetics departments.

LongSeq offers third-generation genetic sequencing services powered by Oxford Nanopore Technologies and holds a registered utility model (MU-207-2020) covering the use of nanopore sequencing for structural variant detection and haplotyping. Sequencing and bioinformatic analysis can be contracted together or separately, and our multidisciplinary team provides close, personalised guidance throughout, delivering faster, more complete and innovative results than traditional methods.
