Oxford Nanopore Technologies: Future of Pathogen Surveillance panel discussion

Today Oxford Nanopore Technologies will host a panel discussion in Washington DC on the future of genomic surveillance in the US, as the scientific community of pathogen experts gathers at the ASM conference.

Researchers and public health teams around the world use Oxford Nanopore technology to enable rapid sequencing, deployed in a flexible way, to understand and respond to emerging agricultural, zoonotic and human threats.

We believe that robust, accessible and widespread genomic surveillance is vital to respond to current and future pathogen threats. We welcome draft US legislation that aims to overcome challenges such as training, funding and data sharing.
