University of Nottingham - Deep Seq
Deep Seq is the University of Nottingham's genomics and multiomics facility, providing comprehensive support throughout the entire research lifecycle. We work with academic, public-sector and commercial partners from initial project conception and experimental design through to sequencing, data analysis and interpretation.
Our Oxford Nanopore Technologies capabilities include PromethION and GridION platforms, enabling scalable long-read sequencing for whole-genome, metagenomic, transcriptomic and targeted sequencing applications. Alongside sequencing, we provide expertise in sample preparation, library construction, quality control, project planning and troubleshooting to help ensure successful outcomes.
Our team combines laboratory and bioinformatics expertise to deliver tailored analysis pipelines and biological interpretation, helping partners translate complex sequencing data into meaningful insights. Whether supporting pilot studies, collaborative research or large-scale sequencing projects, Deep Seq offers a flexible, end-to-end service designed to maximise scientific impact and accelerate discovery.
