Tom Rich joined the Applications group at Oxford Nanopore Technologies in 2017 as a bioinformatician involved in early single nucleotide polymorphism and structural variant benchmarking efforts. In 2019 he co-founded the Customer Workflows group with a mission to build a new way for customers to analyse their data. Initially kickstarting efforts on research use only workflows before leaving them in more capable hands, he now oversees development of EPI2ME Desktop and Server, ensuring that all elements of the group are working in harmony to deliver our vision of simplifying sample to answer.
