Nuclear Transcript Expression is Changed in the Absence of mtDNA and Respiration


We investigated changes in nuclear transcript expression in mouse 4T1 breast carcinoma cell lines aer depletion of mitochondrial (mt) DNA (4T1-ρ 0 ), and whether expression was recovered following mi‐ tochondrial acquisition and respiration recovery in sub-cutaneous (ρ 0 SC) and metastatic lung tumours (ρ 0 SCL). Four different cell lines were multiplexed onto MinION flow cells and sequenced using the cDNA kit, then mapped to the genome and transcriptome
