Can I remove the flow cell when MinKNOW™ is on the "finishing" step?
Yes, you can remove the flow cell as long as the sequencing script has finished, even if there are queued reads to be basecalled in the catch-up basecalling mode.
Please note, disconnecting the MinION device is not recommended, as this may lead to the basecall process stopping or computer shutting down.
