When should I QC my PromethION flow cells?
PromethION Flow Cells should not be QC’ed at the time of delivery.
Please only check a flow cell the day you are planning to load a library. Please let the flow cell come to room temperature for 30 minutes before testing.
If it passes the QC check, please leave the flow cell plugged into the position and load the finished library onto the flow cell while it remains connected to the device.
If the flow cell falls below the 5000-pore warranty level, please follow the troubleshooting steps in this Help Article.
