We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Product Management Team and be responsible for the creation of technical documents such as end to end protocols, manufacturer’s declarations and product manuals.
Reporting to the Technical Writer and with close working ties to the Regulatory and Compliance team the successful candidate will expand and formalise the compliance documentation available for Oxford Nanopore Products as well as work with key translational projects to document end to end workflows for assay validation.
The candidate will also work with the existing Technical Writer on the release of new product protocols and user guides.
As the Oxford Nanopore product performance and offering expand so too does the desire of users to deploy the product in production and regulated environments.
The Technical Writer will manage the following portfolio of documentation:
- Manufacturers declarations
- Product Technical Files
- End to End workflows, documenting sample extraction, pre-treatment, library preparation, sequencing and data analysis for users who are intending to lock down a pre-configured assay for validation purposes
The candidate will additionally support the generation and management of user manuals, protocols and store content.

A degree in molecular biology or equivalent science degree is essential. Previous experience in medical writing would be an advantage, an interest in quality and compliance is essential. The candidate will have excellent written communication skills, with an eye for detail, plus the capability of simplifying complex information.
